Good morning!
Our skies have mostly cleared out early on this Saturday. As a result, low clouds and fog are forming across the interior lowlands. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9:00 A.M. for the northern & central Willamette Valley, as well as interior southwest Washington. All in all, today is going to be pretty nice with highs in the upper 50s. Expect some decent sunshine between the late morning and early afternoon. Clouds will build in later today as another atmospheric river takes aim at western Washington and British Columbia.
Sunday will turn out to be a wet day in western Washington, but a pretty dry one to the south. Since we will be along the southern fringe of this weather system, a few showers will be possible in far northwest Oregon, especially the Coast Range. Otherwise, expect lots of clouds Sunday and mild temperatures.
A cold front will drop into the region on Monday, pushing rain back in between the late morning and early afternoon. During this event, snow levels will drop down to about 2,000 feet. Minor snow accumulations can't be ruled out at the mountain passes, but most of the precip. will fall before snow levels drop below 4,000 feet. Above the passes, expect to see about 3-6"of new snow. Tuesday should turn out to be a mainly dry day, with dry weather persisting through Wednesday. A few showers can't be ruled out Thursday. It really doesn't look like we have any big weather makers coming in the next week or so.
